Fence For Life warrants that the precast concrete materials produced by
Fence For Life shall be free from manufacturing defect at time of sale, and shall remain free of defect for the
periods outlined below:

l. For homeowners, materials shall be warranted free of defect for the lifetime of the original
purchaser (provided one of the original purchasers remains living and retains ownership of the
property), but not less than 25 years from the date of purchase of the material.

This warranty is transferable to a subsequent owner during the initial 25 year period, and is non-
prorated. Only the first subsequent owner shall be allowed protection under this warranty. This
warranty shall end with the next transfer of the property, or with the death of the last of the
original purchasers.

2. For corporations, governmental agencies, partnerships, trusts, religious organizations, schools,
condominium associations or cooperative housing arrangements, and other non-single family
home buildings, the warranty shall be 25 years from the date of original purchase, and shall be
non-transferable.

Defect shall be defamed as spalling, structural cracking, crumbling, blistering, or corroding when subject
to normal and proper use. Hairline cracks not affecting the durability of the product, minor chipping and
similar wear related cosmetic defects shall not constitute manufacturing defect. In the event of a defect,
Fence For Life shall provide replacement materials equal to the original product. Warranty shall only be
honored if product is installed by an approved Fence For Life installer, or in conformance with Fence For Life
installation instructions, especially relative to embedment and footing materials.

In the event of claim of defect, Fence For Life shall be given the opportunity to inspect the product and
installation and determine the nature of the defect and its appropriate remedy, if deemed defective.
Fence For Life shall not be liable or responsible for labor charges or other expenses whatsoever in
connection with removal or installation of either the original or replacement product.

 

Limitations

This warranty does not provide protection against any failure, defect, or damage caused by situations and
events beyond normal exposure conditions, including but not limited to:

S      Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper handling or storage;

S      Improper installation or installation not in strict adherence to Fence For Life s written instructions
          (local building codes, ground conditions, high winds, or other environmental conditions may
          require additional specifications);

S      Use of accessories which do not properly receive and/or secure Fence For Life fencing.

S      Impact of foreign objects, earthquake, flood, lightning, hail, hurricane, tornado, or other casualty or act of God.

S      Movement, distortion, collapse, or settling of the ground or structure on which the fencings installed;

S     Any other cause not involving manufacturing defects in the material supplied by Fence For Life

Fence For Life fencing products are provided in natural grey, or other colors integral to the concrete.
Fence For Life colors may be subject to discoloration or other damage caused by air pollution (including but
not limited to metal oxides or metallic particles), mildew, exposure to chemicals or normal weathering
from the elements. These effects are deemed natural and are not warranted defects.

Normal weathering is defined as exposure to sunlight and extremes of weather and atmosphere which will
cause any colored surface to gradually fade, chalk, or accumulate dirt or stains. The severity of any
condition depends on the geographical location of the fencing, the cleanliness of the air in the area, and
many other influences over which Fence For Life does not have contro1.
